About Dr. Jeffrey Williamson
Dr. Williamson has practiced dentistry in the Portland area since 1978. For more than 25 years, he has had a mercury-free dental office. A graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry, he was an assistant professor at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. In addition, he attended the famous Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where he learned the most advanced techniques in esthetic (cosmetic) dentistry.
To keep current with the latest dental technologies and methods, Dr. Williamson
is an active member of the following academies and associations:
• American Academy of Biological Medicine and Dentistry
• American Dental Association
• Oregon Dental Association
• American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
• International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), which is dedicated to treating and educating patients with bio- compatible materials and safe removal of mercury fillings
Staying healthy is good for everyone, so Dr. Williamson tries to maintain an active lifestyle. His hobbies and athletic activities include hatha yoga, pilates, running, weight-resistance training, snow skiing and water skiing.
